Handigs (Qualt) cares about your privacy. We therefore only process data that we need for (the improvement of) our services and treat the information that we have collected about you and your use of our services with care. We never make your data available to third parties for commercial purposes.

Webshop software

WooCommerce

Our shop is developed with software from WooCommerce, we host our shop on a server owned by TransIP. We have appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent abuse, loss and corruption of data as much as possible. These security measures include the use of SSL encryption and a strong password policy. Regular backups are made to prevent loss of data.

Webhosting

Siteground

We obtain the server on which our website runs from Siteground. Siteground processes personal data on our behalf and does not use your data for its own purposes. They may, however, collect metadata about the use of the services. This is not personal data. Siteground has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to prevent the loss and unauthorized use of your personal data. Siteground is obligated to maintain confidentiality pursuant to the agreement.

E-mail and mailing lists

MailChimp

We send our e-mail newsletters with MailChimp. MailChimp will never use your name and email address for its own purposes. At the bottom of every email sent automatically through our website you will see the 'unsubscribe' link. You will then no longer receive our newsletter. Your personal data are stored securely by MailChimp. MailChimp uses cookies and other Internet technologies that provide insight into whether emails are opened and read. MailChimp reserves the right to use your data for the further improvement of services and as part of this process to share information with third parties.

Mailgun

Email sent through our system, for example order confirmation, goes through the European network of Mailgun. Mailgun will not use your information for its own purposes. Your details and any emails sent by us will be stored securely and Mailgun will be bound to secrecy under our agreement.

Payment processors

PayPal

We use the payment service provider PayPal to process (part of) the payments in our webshop. PayPal processes your name, address and residence details and your payment information such as your bank account or credit card number. PayPal has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal data. PayPal reserves the right to use your information to further improve services and as part of this (anonymized) data with third parties to share. In the case of an application for a deferred payment (credit facility), PayPal shares personal data and order data with post-payment service providers. All of the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to the parts of PayPal's services for which it engages third parties. PayPal does not keep your data longer than permitted by law.

Buckaroo

Payment service provider Buckaroo. Buckaroo processes your name, address and place of residence details and your payment details such as your bank account or credit card number. Buckaroo has taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. Buckaroo reserves the right to use your data to further improve its service and, as part of this, to share (anonymised) data with third parties. Buckaroo will share personal data and order data with post-payment service providers in the event of a request for a deferred payment (credit facility). All the above guarantees regarding the protection of your personal data also apply to those parts of Buckaroo's service provision for which it engages third parties. Buckaroo will not retain your data any longer than is permitted by law.

WebwinkelKeur

We collect reviews through the platform of WebwinkelKeur. If you leave a review through WebwinkelKeur, you are required to provide a name and email address. WebwinkelKeur shares this information with us, so we can link the review to your order. WebwinkelKeur will also publish your name on their own website. In some cases, WebwinkelKeur may contact you to explain your review. In the event that we invite you to leave a review, we will share your name and email address with WebwinkelKeur. When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of PostNL for carrying out the deliveries. If PostNL engages subcontractors, PostNL will also make your data available to these parties.

DHL

When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of DHL for carrying out the deliveries. It is therefore necessary for us to share your name, address and place of residence with DHL. DHL will only use this data for the performance of the contract. In the event that DHL engages subcontractors, DHL will also make your data available to these parties.

DPD

When you place an order with us, it is our job to deliver your package to you. We use the services of DPD to execute the deliveries. Therefore it is necessary that we share your name, address and residence data with DPD. DPD will only use these data for the execution of the agreement. In case DPD calls in subcontractors, DPD will also make your data available to these parties.

Channeldock

We use the services of SnelStart to keep our records and accounts. We share your name, address and details regarding your order. This information is used to administer sales invoices. Your personal data will be transmitted and stored in a protected manner. SnelStart is committed to secrecy and will treat your data confidentially. SnelStart will not use your personal data for other purposes than described above.

Bol.com

We sell (a part of) our articles through the platform of Bol.com. If you place an order through this platform, Bol.com will share your order and personal data with us. We use this information to process your order. We treat your data confidentially and have taken appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your data from loss and unauthorised use.

Purpose of data processing

General purpose of processing

We use your data exclusively for the purpose of providing our services. This means that the purpose of the processing is always directly related to the assignment you provide. We do not use your details for (targeted) marketing. If you share information with us and we use this information to contact you at a later time, other than at your request, we will ask you for your explicit permission. Your details will not be shared with third parties other than to meet accounting and other administrative obligations. These third parties are all bound to secrecy by agreement between them and us or by an oath or legal obligation.
